About Cariad Ballet

Cariad Ballet -> Love Ballet!

Director Michelle Harrison wanted to give a nod to her Welsh heritage and her passion for dance with her school name: Cariad Ballet. Her and her teachers inspire students to be happy, hardworking and the best dancers they can possibly be. Their expertise helps bring the beautiful art form of ballet to all ages, genders, races, backgrounds and abilities; providing an inclusive learning environment where students can improve their self-confidence, expression, co-ordination, posture, team-work and creativity.
Our classes are enjoyable and friendly but also challenging and disciplined. They range from pre-school to adult, from recreational to professional, from groups to private lessons. We follow the globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and students have the rewarding opportunity to take class awards and examinations from the age of five.
RAD qualifications are part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
An RAD exam can earn you the equivalent of a GCSE,
A-Level or Diploma; providing UCAS points for university.

This venue is just off the Elephant & Castle 'roundabout' and has fantastic facilities such as a light spacious dance studio equipped with ballet barres, a large waiting area for parents/guardians, a kitchenette for public use and a lift for easy access. It is safe and secure with a reception and code-operated door. Please get in touch ​before dropping in as there is a door access code I will need to pass on.

We hire multiple studios at this state of the art dance, drama and music rehearsal venue. Each space is airy with purpose built with harlequin floors, music systems, mirrors and ballet barres.
